Our Serum Separator Tube (SST) is designed for the rapid collection and high-quality preparation of serum samples for clinical diagnostic testing. The tube contains a silica-based clot activator coated on the interior wall, which significantly accelerates the clotting process. Additionally, it features a patented inert polymer gel barrier with a specific density intermediate between serum and clot.

During centrifugation, this gel forms a stable, impenetrable physical barrier, permanently separating the serum from blood cells and fibrin. This process yields a pure, cell-free serum sample ideal for a wide range of downstream analytical applications, ensuring accuracy and minimizing sample interference.
